Language Rights

Montreal is a metropolis where Shakespeare meets Moliere; where English and French communities intertwine with diverse, multicultural populations from around the globe. Although it is important to recognize the Francophone title that Montreal holds, our leaders must maintain, protect, and fulfill the rights of linguistic minorities, particularly minority English populations in our city.

Ensuring that we uphold language rights is a necessary component of any inclusive and participatory policy structure.
